"Probly not," Logan said, "Though it couldn't hurt to try a different breed." He smiled, watching his boyfriend pet the puppy. He would have to stop by the pound and see what they had in the way of puppies next time he got the chance.
"I've never met a mean puppy," Jaynee said, "I don't know how that's even possible."

Lynda shrugged at her sister. "If there's nice puppies, there has to be mean ones to keep everything in balance 'n stuff." It was like her and her sister. What if they had both been the nice one? Well, then the Earth might have imploded, that's what. Lynda looked back at the two boys. The look on Logan's face said that Sasha would be getting a puppy in the future, possibly, and they were so adorable together. And every time Lynda saw it, it made her closer and closer to crying. See, she hasn't cried since she broke her arm when she was 10. Seven years of not crying all thrown away for some idiot? No, that wasn't going to happen. "Well, I really better get going." Lynda waved her notebook in the air as she said this. "I have a lot of homework to do." She'd let Jaynee explain to them how she was one of those kids who actually did her homework - most of the time - and how she was OCD when it came to school grades. Before someone could persuade her into staying, Lynda hastily walked away.

---TIMESKIP---
Days passed and Sasha was distracted. For some reason, he couldn't stop thinking about Lynda. It was actually kind of weird for him. She bugged him, but in a way that made him just want to annoy her back. He'd only met her twice, and he knew it. There was something about the way she left the last time that kept nagging at him, though.
Even now, as he walked across campus with his hands stuffed into the pocket of his hoody, he couldn't stop thinking about it. He couldn't even manage to keep up his usual grin, he was so lost in thought. He knew he should probably have been thinking about Logan, but he couldn't. For some reason, he just couldn't.

Lynda was reading a non-fiction book about how scientists have come up with a theory to the meanings of dreams and she couldn't put the book down. Don't judge her bad taste in books. She liked fiction, too, but preferred non-fiction - especially when it was about science. Logic was her strong point, on most days.
Her dreams had been something she could never remember when she woke up, and she still couldn't. But now, when she wakes up, she remembers that the dream was awesome, just not all the other details to how she came with said conclusion. Her book had yet to tell her what these kinds of dreams mean, but it was still interesting - helpful or not.
So this is probably why she walked the halls with the book in her hands, reading. She knew no one was in the halls, so there was on fear in running into someone. And she had walked these halls so many times before that she was positive that she could get around blindfolded if she needed. So when she turned the corner, she didn't expect running into someone hard, and falling back on her butt.

Sasha probably should have been paying more attention to the world around him. Doing so would have prevented him from running into someone, knocking them down. Stumbling back and blinking, he looked down at whoever it was only to have a whole new look of confusion cross his face. He covered it fast, though, replacing it with a smile.
"If I didn't know better, I'd say you were stalking me," He snorted, holding a hand out to Lynda to help her up.

Lynda surprisingly took his hand. It wasn't like he was doing the hypnotizing thing on her, but just staring into his hazel eyes could easily do the trick. After getting her feet firmly planted on the ground, she straightened her shirt and rolled her eyes. "Yes, because I definitely care enough to stalk you," she said sarcastically. It was true that she really didn't care enough to stalk Sasha; which made her feel good that it was true sarcasm, because she's starting to hate all this denial. And don't get Lynda wrong; she does care about Sasha. She just doesn't care so obsessively that she would stalk him. She didn't want to know what he did when she wasn't around. Gross.

"Well that's a relief," He pretended to wipe sweat from his brow. He really was happy to see her, even though she hadn't seemed all that glad any of the times she'd seen him. She fascinated him, strange as it was. She rejected him -- even though it was for the best anyways -- but that didn't change the fact that he liked being around her. Even when she was being all stick-up-the-butt-ish, she was fun. For Sasha, at least. "So, how've you been? Haven't missed me too much, I hope." He gave her a fake cocky smile, just for good measure.

"I've been pretty good. Really busy with sports." Lynda shrugged and actually smiled at him. What it wrong to try to actually be friends with him. He wasn't that bad of a person, really. Was it so bad to actually try to be polite to him? See, this is where her logic finally decided to kick in. And, she had also chose to not respond to the question about her missing him, which she had. She couldn't look at Finn without thinking about him and his boyfriend. It had been frustrating the first day, but she got used to it. "And what about you?"

"Not much," he shrugged back, hiding his surprise that she wasn't ripping his head off already. It was a nice change of pace. "I've been busy with... school. You know, that sort of stuff." He shifted to lean agains the wall beside him, his smile softening slightly. "I think Logan wasnts to get me a dog... but I'm not sure. I think he's been hinting at it."

"I hope he does," Lynda said. "Finn needs a friend. The only other person I know at this school with a dog has a really prissy poodle. Bad influence for my baby." The memory of her talking about how she wants her future son/daughter to be gay came to mind and she grinned. Lynda wanted to kick herself, however, for saying that. If his dog and Finn were to be friends, they'd be seeing each other a lot more. And it's really hard to get over someone that you see all the time. But then again, it'd probably be him and Jaynee watching over the dogs, since Jaynee was Finn's main owner. Lynda wasn't trusted with anything living. You accidentally kill a hamster when your 7 and you're never allowed a pet again... jeez.

"Ick. Prissy poodles are the worst." Sasha shook his head. "I'm love everything fabulous and all, but small dogs with attitude just don't work. Their cute, but evil." He rubbed his arm, as if remembering some injury from a long time ago. It was more like many injuries, really. He had had a pretty vicious little dog when he was younger and could still see it baring it's teeth at him when he closed his eyes, sometimes. "If he does get me a puppy, I'll have to make sure that it behaves itself. I can't have another mean dog."

Lynda's indifferent face softened and she put her hand on top of his, which was on his arm. "It'll be OK. Logan seems like a really good guy and I know that he'd check to make sure the dog is friendly before getting it for you."

Sasha looked down at the girl's hand before looking back up at her, a small smile touching his own lips. "Yeah... He is a really good guy. I guess I shouldn't worry so much. He wouldn't do anything that would hurt me." Even as he said it, Sasha knew it was true. Logan was good. It kind of made Sasha feel guilty even concidering that Logan would do anything that would hurt him.

Satisfied that Sasha wasn't worrying anymore, Lynda removed her hand quickly. It was awkward having it there, and her mind kept repeating he's taken he's taken he's taken. "How long have you and Logan been together, anyway? You didn't tell me about him at the rally," Lynda couldn't help to sound a bit accusing. And when they were supposed to raise their hand if they had a significant other, she didn't miss how he didn't raise his hand. "I mean, it's wrong to flirt with a girl when you already got a boyfriend."

Sasha looked away from her, as if he were caught in the act or something. "We've been together for a while, I guess. And you never exactly asked, at the rally." He remembered them saying to raise your hand if you were at the rally with your significant other, but Logan had been busy that day and couldn't go. "And I'm sorry if it seemed like I was flirting with you. Sometimes I do that without really thinking." He frowned, really feeling guilty, now, before looking back at her. "It's not like it worked or anything, though. Right?" He gave her a small apologetic smile.
