Taidan gave her an innocent smile. "Oh no, of course not. Just don't plan to do anything that day." If he wanted to make it the best day ever, he'd have to start planning now. That'd mean he'd have to cut time out of his April Fools planning, which is a big thing for him. "I like any kind of music, really. My favorites are pop, rock, and surprisingly classical." He looked around, trying to think of a question. "What is something insane you've always wanted to do? Example, since it's a badly worded question, I've always wanted to sky dive."

"I've always wanted to sky dive too, but I also would love to set off a crazy huge amount of fireworks for New Year's," she said. Before she could think of her next question for him, however, the alarm on her waterproof sportswatch went off. She'd set the alarm to remind herself when she needed to leave the lake and head over to her friend, Carmen's dorm "Oh, crap! I've got to go. I'm supposed to help my friend out with her language project today and I've got to change before I go over to her dorm, so I need to hurry," she said. Tango stood up, releasing his hand, and went down to the water to rinse the sand off of her feet before slipping on her flipflops. She started to say something but realized that she couldn't. Without his hand in hers she was stuck in silence. She'd gotten so used to being able to speak for this little while that she was almost startled when she couldn't. She walked over and grabbed his hand once more. "I'm sorry I have to leave, but I'll see you soon," she said, "And we can just save the rest of the questions and use them whenver, alright?" She really hated to leave him. She really wanted nothing more than to stay here sitting next to him, holding his hand, but she really needed to help Carmen.

"OK, then. I pick you up at your dorm at 3 p.m on Saturday. Don't wear anything fancy. Bye Tango." Taidan was really tempted to ask if he could help, seeing as he's a language expert, but decided not to. He didn't want to be clingly or overly friendly. That tends to scare people away. He started walking back to the dock, where he'd be able to find his shirt and shoes and go back to the school.
~Time Skip~
Knocking on the dorm room that he was sure was hers, he waited. He wanted to bring flowers, but decided to wait until he found out her favorite kind. He wore a light blue t-shirt that had the word "Hello" written on it in many different languages, and then a simple pair of light-washed jeans and some converse. There date was planned at Freddie's Fun House ((yes, same thing as Frankie's Fun Park)) because he wanted to see how fun and wild and crazy she could be. It was a test to see if they were anything alike.

Tango answered the door wearing an olive green t-shirt with an image of the Eifel Tower on it and a pair of faded jeans with a hole in one knee. As always she had the quarter around her neck and the whiteboard in her hand. This last, however, she intended to stick in her purse, a brown messenger-style bag that she wore over her shoulder. She smiled as soon as she saw him, taking in the sight of him happily. She liked his shirt better off than on, she decided, but he was hot no matter what. She took his hand before saying, "Hi."

Taidan pulled her hand up to his mouth and kissed it - he figured kissing her now would be too soon - and grinned at her. "Hey, Tango. C'mon, let's go," he said, pulling her to the student parking lot, where his very old truck sat, but it was still in excellent shape. He was very proud of the car, saving up for it himself, and treated it well. He opened her door first, to be a gentleman, before getting in on the other side and starting it. Before taking off, he grabbed her hand again. "I'm sorry I can't hold your hand while I drive, so I'm guessing the car ride's going to be very silent. You can turn the radio on whatever you want, though." If it was any other car, he'd just drive one handed, but since it was a stick shift, he needed both hands most of the time. And he felt bad that he wouldn't really be able to talk to her while on the ride, but at least he could dodge the 'where are we going?' question, because it was a surprise.

Tango just shrugged. She was more sad that she didn't get to hold his hand than that she couldn't talk. She was used to not talking. The dark-haired girl pushed the button to turn on the radio and adjusted it to the classic rock station, nodding her head in time with the song that was playing. She was wondering where they were going, but since she couldn't ask it would have to remain unknown, at least until they got there, that was.

Pulling into the parking lot, their spot facing a neon sign that said "FREDDIE'S FUN HOUSE," Taidan turned off the car and automatically grabbed Tango's hand. A small smirk was on his face, hoping she would have a good reaction. "What do you think?"

"Very nice," she said, laughing a little. She hoped he didn't take offense to that. She really did think it would be a fun place, she just found it rather humorous that this was the place he picked for their first date. "Just out of curiosity, but why Freddie's Fun House?" she asked then, "And that does not count as a question."

"When a question is counted at one of The Questions, we'll state before hand. That one's not going to count," Taidan said with an official nod. Normal questions and The Questions were different, because questions were just random things and if you wanted, you could lie to them. The Questions are more personal usually and if you lie to them, you'll get struck by lightning. It's a proven fact. "And I took you hear because I like to have fun and be crazy, so if you wouldn't like a place like this, we would never work out. It was a test, and so far, you've passed." Taidan gave her a big, wide grin before getting around the car and walking around to get the door for her. "Where do you want to start first: the games you use to get tickets for, the go-karts, or the laser tag?"

"Go-karts, definately," she said with a serious nod. She broke into a grin immediately afterward, though. It was just too hard not to grin in a place like this with someone like him. She was glad she was passing the test. Tango was a quiet person most of the time, but that was mostly due to shyness and muteness. Both of those issues had pretty much been overcome with Taidan. There was nothing to stop her from having fun.

"Well then," he said, taking out two little wrist bands from his pocket. He had a friend hook them up with the unlimited passes for the rides outside - plus laser tag - and put it around her wrist. "Go-kart's it is." He started to make his way to the go-karts, his hand in hers, and debated on which one they would ride. The normal go-karts or the kiddie ones? Normal for now, he guessed, but at some time he would have to try out the kid version. He was glad that the line wasn't long, since most of the crowd was there earlier or during lunch time, but the bad kids didn't get there till the sun started to go down. While waiting he asked randomly, "What's your favorite flowers? It's one of The Questions."

"I like daisies, especially the white ones," she said. Now for one of her questions. She felt compelled to ask him something every time he asked her. Before she could think of something, however, she noticed a very sketchy-looking group of kids standing around by the outdoor set of bathrooms that were right by the go-kart track. She didn't recognize them and guessed that they were from in town, not from Athena, but that didn't make them any less scary.
"What're you looking at?" one of them asked, catching her looking. Tango immediately looked away and stepped closer to Tai, turning scarlet.

Tai pulled Tango closer too, wrapping an arm around her protectively. "Don't talk to my girl like that. Obviously she's looking at the creepy dudes in the corner, that's what." Tai gave them his best mock friendly smile, which was hard when usually the friendliness wasn't fake. He turned and attempted to walk away from them.
"Where do you think your going, blondie?" one of the guys asked him, and he felt his blood boil. Blondie wasn't his favorite nickname.
"Onlarý dövdü etmeyin. Onlarý dövdü etmeyin. Onlarý dövdü etmeyin (don't beat them up)," Tai repeated to himself in Turkish, trying to remind himself that nothing would go right if he were to get him and Tango kicked out on their date.

Tango had no idea what Tai was muttering in whatever foreign language, but she knew it wasn't good. She didn't want to start a fight here, but she could feel herself beginning to get angry with these morons who thought they were so tough. "We're going about our business, like you should be," she said, calmly.
"I didn't ask you for an answer," the same guy snapped.
"I didn't ask you for an attitude, but you gave me one," she retorted. Words were wonderful things. They could sooth and carress and heal, or they could bite.
"I think you started this, bitch!" he returned. Tango just barrelled on, allowing the insult to fuel her already building fury.
"By looking at you?! I think if you go around looking like a bunch of drug dealers you'd better get used to getting funny looks!" she said.
"Watch it!" he said angrily, but in that way that all tough guys say it. The way that lets you know that they really don't mean anything by it and that they really don't have anything to back it up with anyway.
"Fuck off!" she snapped before turning to Tai and saying, in a slightly softer tone, "Maybe we should try lazer tag first."

"Yeah, let's go," he said, sending the gang one last glare. Once they were too far away to hear, Tai let himself smirk at Tango. "You were tough back there. I didn't think you had it in you." That was definitely a good thing, because it let him know that she could defend for herself. He wouldn't have to be as worried about her as he already is.
The line wasn't that bad, and once they got through, the gang of four boys came in. They were all put together on the red team. Four people were on the blue team, and four more on the yellow team. Two people, along with Tango and Taidan, were put on the green team. "Listen, you two," Taidan said, pointing to the two. They were a punk-looking couple, and looked like they would be good at this. "I don't care if we win or not, but our main goal is to beat the red team's ass, okay?" The two nodded, smirking, as they put on their gear. He looked at Tango with a small smile. "You ready for this?"
