-Time Skip-
After finishing the homework that Lynda actually did for once, she stood up from her bed and stretched. "Oh yeah, the yearbook thing!" she said randomly, then went digging under her bed. A box full of silly things and old pictures with the words "Sophomore Year" on the outside was dragged out. She found her yearbook near the bottom, and kicked the box back under the bed. "Jaynee come over here!" she said, sitting against the headboard of her bed and patting the spot next to her. She was too lazy to move over there.

Jaynee looked up at her sister and the yearbook, suddenly remembering what they'd talked about earlier in detention. She'd be sprawled on her stomache on her bed, reading a manga about girls who carry guns around hidden in violin cases. She dog-eared the page she was on and tossed the book down on the bed before moving to sit next to her sister. "So should we just go through the list alphabetically or choose at random by hotness?" she asked.

"Random by hotness. If we go alphabetically, what if the hotest and sweetest guy has the last name of Zamboni, huh? We're just going to flip the pages, and see what we get." Opening the book to a random page, she glanced at the people before pointing at one of the hottest on the page. "He's cute. I think he was in our science class in freshman year."

"Good point," Jaynee said looking down at the picture. "Yeah, he's pretty cute, what's his power?" she asked. Rather than wait for an answer she just looked at the list next to the the row of pictures and went down to the one that corrosponded to his name. "Freezing abilities," she read, "Not very interesting, and it could mean he's cold."

Lynda rolled her eyes at her sister. "So? I can shape COOL colors, so does that mean I'm cold? Wait, I kind of am. Oh well, then I guess we'd be a good match." Lynda sighed at this. She didn't want to find matches for her self, but for her sister instead. "Oh, this guy has weather abilities. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Weather, nature, they go together."

Jaynee just laughed at her sister's lame attempt to make a connection. "Oh gawd, don't do that with every person," she said, "I don't think my ribs can take it between the nudging and the laughing." She looked at the guy's picture and name anyway though, moving him to her mental list of possibilities.

"Fine," Lynda said in defeat, shrugging back and flipping to a knew page. "I'll try not to, but no promises, 'kay?" She glanced around the page, but didn't find anyone who would seemed worthy of mentioning. All the powers that seemed like it would have something to do with Jaynee's personally didn't have the looks, and the ones that did have the looks Lynda didn't want to mention, fearing that Jaynee would try to hook them up with her.

"Ooooooooo, he looks nice," Jaynee cooed, pointing to a boy on the third row down the page who's power was shapeshifting into a dog. "You love dogs." Jaynee loved dogs too, but she didn't want this to all be about her. She had to pick a guy for her sister whenever her sister picked one for her, just to be fair, and because Lynda needed someone too.

"He's face looks kind of puggish," Lynda replied, even though it didn't. She mentally remembered his name as she flipped the page. She didn't want to admit he was cute; she was too stubborn. She looked at the page, sighed, then snapped the book shut. "OK, I give up on this crap. I'll find you a man later, in a way that's not as pathetic as looking through the year book." With a firm nod, Lynda put the book back in its rightful spot - because everything had to be organized - before sitting back on her bed and pouting. That was such a waste of time.
