Asia's feet drummed against the arm of the couch she monopolized in the tunnels of the Hive. The girl was sprawled over it lazily, a couple untouched books next to her on the ground. She was utterly bored. She was too unfocused to do homework, and she didn't have a good book to read at the moment. All the planning that was needed to be done for the Hive was done, thank God. She loved the Hive, but when they all had to sit down and be serious, Asia always felt like she was going to explode. There was nothing interesting to do above ground, either. She preferred being underground, anyway.
The next person who walked by, she decided, would be her victim. She picked on anyone and everyone, with the exception of a few (like the leaders of the Hive. She doesn't have a death wish). She switched to a sitting position at the sound of footsteps, a small smirk on her face.

Tom had been outside, deciding that an afternoon fly was indeed needed. The last time he'd stretched his wings had been when he was hiking in the mountains last Spring. He was now walking through the tunnels of the hive, though his footsteps weren't human though, as his large lizard-like body stepped quietly through the damp tunnels. His wings were folded loosely at his sides, long snake-like tongue flickering in and out of his scaly mouth as he tasted the cool, damp air.
His eyes glowed in the dark lighting as he finally stepped out of one of the tunnels, his horned head staring down at the girl sitting on the couch. His thick tongue flickered out, her scent quickly touching the roof of his mouth, not recognizing the taste. His jaws remained closed as his tongue made a few more quick motions and his head lowered slightly, glowing eyes staring at the girl with little curiosity and more wonder of what she was doing in here.
Tom turned his head away from the girl and stepped over to the other side of the tunnel, the skin under his scales throbbing hot from being so close to the sun from flying. He turned and then sat himself down, his side touching the cold wall, uncurling his tail and letting it cool down on the floor as well. The dragon stared towards the girl once more, only glancing at her before turning his head away and tasting the air again.

Asia waited for the person to come in view, thinking of - WHAT THE FLYING HIPPOS IS THAT? The smirk on her face dropped rapidly and she narrowed her eyes. Who the hell was that? It had to be a Hive member, and she knew most of them. Correction: she's heard of or met most of them. Most of them she didn't know very well. The... thing said down on the other side of the tunnel, which made her nervous. How fast did it move?
Not as fast as you, the conceited part of her thought. She eyed the wings for a second, full of uncertain. But it looked tired, and she hadn't gone for a good run yet today, so she could get away fast if she happened to drive the creature over the edge.
It's Draco! The person's name - or nick name - suddenly came to her as she realized the monster thing was a dragon. The next thought was, Draco's real name is Tom Riddle. Full of Harry Potter references, that kid was. It'd almost be too easy to mess with him because of that, but Asia wasn't going to let this chance to slip away from her because of the need of a challenge. Ever so causally, she laid back down on the couch and looked up at the ceiling. "So how are you today, Voldemort?"

'Excuse me?' Tom's voice echoed in the girl's mind, a threatening tone lingering on his tongue as it flickered out.

Asia jumped slightly as the voice echoed in her mind. Impressive. A smirk slowly appeared on her face and she turned to meet his eyes. "I'm sorry, do dragons not speak English? Because I didn't stutter."

'Watch your tone girl.' Tom hissed loudly, the sound outside of the girl's mind as well. He'd stood up now, wings opening slightly to make him look much larger. His jaws opened to show razor sharp teeth sticking from his gums, tongue flickering.

Asia's eyes narrowed. Sure, he was pretty intimating, but she was sure that she was faster than him. To any normal person (but she wasn't sure how normal he was when a dragon), she disappeared, but really just ran so she was right behind him. "You don't scare me," she whispered. It was a bit of a lie, she had to admit, but she was confident in her power. And she loved the risks.

'Is that a CHALLENGE?!' Tom took a booming step forward, his neck craning forward with a hard jerk as his jaws opened, a deafening roar splitting through the tunnels, a sound that would make ears bleed, or at least come close to it.
Tom brought his neck back, wings shifting at his sides as his tail swayed against the ground behind him. His jaws snapped in the air, another frightening sound. This chick was already pissing him off with the vibe coming off of her body.

Asia winced at the roar, but continued to smirk. She had royally pissing him off, and it all started with a causal greeting. Today was going to be a great day, she already knew. Looks like my work here is done. "Hell yeah," she said simply, and took off in a super sprint, laughing as she ran.

In that split second tom was down the hall, his muscly legs taking him longer distances faster. 'I can still SMELL you, girl!' Tom roared in her head, jaw opening and closing as her scent reached the roof of his mouth. 'You can't keep it up forever!' He hissed, his wings now pinned to his sides as he ran down the hall.

"Fuck," Asia said, but she didn't plan on stopping any time soon. She's run until she passed out, but that could take an hour or more. He was bond to give up by then. She shot out of one of the tunnel exits. It was in a secluded location, so there was most likely no one near, but she was supposed to check. She'd just have to get lectured about that later, but now, she was in the middle of a race. Weaving through the trees, she didn't risk to look back. Not until she was too far away to see him.

Tom was gone. He wasn't behind the girl and he certainly wasn't weaving through the trees. He could have, mind you, his form was slinky and swift enough that he could have... he just preferred.... aerial speed... because in the sky... he was just a tiny bit slower that this girl.
The dragon came swooping silently, his clawed hands reaching out in front of him and swiping for the girl. His long claws almost caged around her as he let his wings out and started gliding along the floor, wings strong even without beating them, breaking down small trees in their way.

Asia couldn't hear him, and figured she had lost him. She looked behind her, only to see the claws so close to getting her. "Oh hell!" Her speed had decreased just enough for them to get her now, too. And in that one second, her cockiness had disappeared.

Tom's claws clapped around Asia like a steel cage, his wings beating harshly two or three times before it brought him back up into the air. His flew up towards the sky, sure it would be hot under his scales, but he was cold blooded, dragon and human, and it didn't bother him as much as it would to a human.
'Are you ready to burn up, girl?' He hissed lowly in her mind.

"I'd like to see you try," Asia challenged, even though she was death scared. She discreetly pulled out her knife - because who in the Hive wouldn't carry a knife with them - and debated where to stab him. She felt the sun practically melting her. Then, suddenly, she speedily attempted to stab the palm of his hand, where the scales would be softer.
