The dragon let out a roar, the stab to his palm stinging greatly... that would look and feel a whole lot worse when he shifted back. In the small shock of pain the dragon's claws released the girl while in the air, wings flapping to keep him hovering in the air. He looked down at his hand growling at the knife dug up under the softer scales on his palm. He couldn't take it out now, of course, because there was a falling girl now.
Tom looked down at Asia and quickly tucked in his wings, diving towards her.

As Asia fell to the ground, her main concern wasn't death. Her main concern was her blade in his hand. That had been a camouflage switchblade - it even had a safety - which she had to go out of state to get. Some states, like the one she was in, made it illegal to possess or carry the certain type of blade, like the state her school was in. She had put time and effort into getting that blade, and she wasn't going to let the monster keep it. She looked down, almost just realizing that she was so close to going splat, and let out a scream.

Tom's jaws opened as he swooped by the girl, he swiped a scaled hand towards the girl but missed. This resulted in a dragon-y grunt as his jaws snapped around the girl's collar. It was almost surprising that he hadn't snapped her neck with his teeth... though he wanted to.... so, so much.
Once they were close enough to the ground Tom shifted back into a human and dropped the girl as they dropped themselves. He was using his right hand to grip his left wrist, staring at the blade embedding itself into his hand and out the other side. "Nngh!!" He grunted painfully, his teeth clenched as he turned to give a deadly glare over at Asia.

Asia blinked as she stopped falling, only to be eaten by some dragon-thing. Well, at least she thought he was going to eat her. But the seconds that she was in his jaw - rather painfully and uncomfortably - she realized that he was saving her. Was this kid bipolar or something? She fell to the ground, and looked around for the monster, only to find a human.
So this was Voldemort, huh? Well, he looked a lot cuter when human, she must say. And his hand sure looked bad. She looked down at her knife, realizing just how bad she stabbed him. Well, it'd be rude to take her knife back, now. He'd probably lose a lot of blood if she were to do that. She looked up and met his glaring eyes. He saved her, but he was glaring? If she was in his position, she would have let herself die, but that's only her personal opinion. "We better go find a first aid kit or something," she finally said, knowing that there would be some in the Hive. She started to walk in the direction of the closest Hive entrance that she knew of.

Tom took the knife between his fingers and yanked the blade from his palm, clenching his jaw and giving a struggled exhale of air when the blood started rushing through the top and bottom of his hand. He flung the blade down towards the ground, the sharp edge sticking into the dirt.
The dragon boy tilted his hand and let the blood spill onto the grass, lifting it back up and stepping- quickly- away from Asia and passed her, towards an entrance. Forget the girl. He'd do it himself.

Asia stood there, staring at her knife in the ground. After his footsteps seemed to get farther away, she slowly picked it up. After wiping the blood of the knife and onto her pants, she pocketed it and started to run after him. She felt pretty guilty, which wasn't a good thing. She shouldn't care. But she had to make sure he didn't bleed to death or something like that. He was an important Hive member, and they needed him alive. Yeah, that was the reason. "Wait, Vol-Tom!" she shouted as she caught up.

"Feh... freaking newcomers... "Be nice to the newcomers, don't beat them up," bah!" Tom growled to himself, a thick, long serpent tongue flickering out of his mouth as he stormed into the entrance. He only stopped for a few seconds and that was to scout the area before entering into the entrance of the Hive.
He was now bandaging up his hand, watching the wraps turn red until he'd wrapped it up about four times. Now only a small red dot seeped through the gauze while he grumbled to himself, tongue flickering out over his lips and back in.

Asia got lost and distracted in the tunnels of the Hive, but on the way finally found her way to Tom. "Hey," she said, the guilt and concern obvious in her voice. She could think of hundreds of things to say that would lighten the mood, but didn't say them. Isn't that why she's here on this earth? Comic relief? Well right now she was failing at her job. The words were dry in her throat and wouldn't come out. "I'm sorry," she finally said. It was a rare thing for her.
