Jaynee sighed. She wanted to say something, though she didn't know what. She wanted to say whatever would take the awkwardness out of this moment and get him to put his arm back around her, but it was too late. He was already asleep. She slid out of the bed as smoothly as she could to keep from waking him again, moving over to Lynda's bed and starting on her homework. She wasn't that tired really, and just laying there next to someone like they were almost a stranger when you wanted them to be WAY more than a stranger to you just wasn't appealing. The blonde girl tapped her pencil against her lips as she worked on her history homework, trying her best not to look up at the sleeping Bailey every few seconds.

Bailey, whom was half dead to the world, barley noticed when Jaynee had left him. Becase clearly, he didnt want her to sleep in the same bed with him. Bailey turned over in his slumber. Facing towards Jaynee,he kicked off the blankets, revealing his muscles to her, grabbed himself for the third time that day and then smiled. He was dreaming pleasantly again.

She looked up when she heard the covers shift, drawing in a sharp breath at the sight of Bailey's exposed muscles. The other thing she noted was the position of his hand and the expression on his face. Must be a damn good dream. She wondered what it was about for a second, but then she caught herself. She probably didn't want to know. Jaynee finished up her history homework with a yawn. Nothing like thinking to tire you out. She put her notebook down on Lynda's bed and looked over at her own. Maybe just a quick nap before she finished the rest of her homework. The hippie girl slid back in with Bailey, trying to be as smooth as she had when she left. She kept a slight space between them, though the small bed wouldn't allow for much, and allowed her eyes to close and herself to drift off.

Bailey, being a very light sleeper, had woken up when Jaynee crawled back into bed with him. He sighed, yawned, and scooted his body as close as he could get it to her, put the covers over them, and slowly wrapped his strong arms around her.
He looked around for a moment and then sighed. As awkward as this felt, it still felt relaxing. Bailey felt an odd sense of comfort, and slowly closed his eyes.

When he scooted closer to her Jaynee felt something strange, something that sent shivers down her spine once she realized what it was. She drew in a deep breath slowly, trying to calm herself down. She was thinking about too many things. Too many things that she shouldn't be thinking about. And the place below Bailey's stomach kept floating to the top. She tried to focus on something else, like his strong arms around her, the steady rhythm of his breathing, the safe things. She closed her eyes and matched her breathing to his, willing herself to relax and stop thinking about that black below the stomach. She wouldn't be getting near it any time soon.

Had everyone forgotten about the poor dog? Every time someone moved, he was either kicked or pushed, and he had to stand up and curl back into a little ball at the two people's - or at one point the one person's - feet. Were they too distracted by the other to notice him? He didn't like not being noticed. He couldn't sleep with all this movement, either. He was so tired - all day he had been pet or picked up or poked by people and children and hadn't gotten a wink of sleep. And now he had this to deal with. Grumpily standing up, he jumped of the bed and found his rainbow pillow on the floor. He cuddled up on that and finally fell in to deep sleep.

Oddly enough, Bailey had not time traveled randomly out of Jaynee's room when he had woken up. He rolled over onto his back, yawned and looked up at the ceiling. After a moment of silence, Bailey got up quietly and climbed over Jaynee. He walked to the bathroom, changed into his own clothes, which were dry now, and came back into the room.
Bailey looked around, and then it finally happened. His watch went off again. Bailey frowned, looking down at it remorsefully. He cursed under his breath and then disappeared.

Jaynee woke up just in time to see Bailey disappear. She sighed heavily, missing him already. Her bed felt terribly empty right now.
~Timeskip~
Jaynee sat at a table by herself in the cafeteria, looking at her food dismally. She hated having this lunch. Only two of her friends were in it and they were both sick today. She sighed heavily, looking around the crowded cafeteria.

Bailey opened his eyes, he was in the cafeteria, at the end of an empty table. The only person sitting at the table was a lonely looking girl at the other end. Bailey looked over her, the glanced again. She looked familiar. Then it caught in his brain. She was rather very familiar.
Bailey slowly scooted down to the end of the table to sit in front of her and coughed loudly,"Excuse me miss? This seat taken?," he said in a weird, deep voice smiling.

"Not yet," Jaynee replied, smiling, "Care to fix that?" She had to admit she'd missed him, even though it'd only been a day. It was strange the effect he had on her. She felt drawn to him, and she had a feeling she wouldn't be able to get rid of it. Not that she wanted to. "You hungry?" she asked now, sliding her tray of food towards him. He probably didn't get to eat very often with all his time traveling.

Bailey smiled,"I couldnt take you food..," he said, reaching for it anyways because he was hungry. He only ate a little though because he was interrupted by a really mean looking girl named Jessica. She and her posey walked over, spotted Jaynee and Bailey, and decided to mess with them.
,"HEY JAYNEE!," Jessica said, sitting almost on top of Jaynee, forcing them to move down some. Her posey moved in to,being just as annoying.

Jaynee looked up at Jessica and winced. Was there really a need to yell her greeting? She was only two feet away for Christ's sake. The hippie girl gave the girls now sitting at her table the most friendly smile she could manage considering how pissed she was that they were there. She didn't want to talk to them or let them talk to her, but she knew it would be wrong to just blow them off without first finding out what they wanted. Jaynee glanced at Bailey and then back at Jessica. She knew what the good thing to do here would be, but she wasn't doing it. She'd dealt with Jessica often enough before to know that the girl meant trouble.
"Hey Jessica!" she said, in her best cheery voice before switching to an annoyed monotone, "Fuck off."

Jessica glared at Jaynee, and then jumped at her, yelling that Jaynee was a bitch in the process. The whole cafeteria ran over to where Jessica had tackled Jaynee. Bailey sat where he was for a moment, a little stunned.
Then he got up, a pissed look on his face, and walked over to where they were and where Jessica was in the process of riping Jaynee's face off((NOT MEANT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY)). With one swift movement,Bailey tore Jessica off of Jaynee and threw her to the ground, where she laid in shock. The whole cafeteria went dead silent. And, just his luck again, Bailey's watch went off, and he disappeared, again.

Jaynee sat on the floor of the cafeteria in shock at what had just happened. She hadn't fought back of course, that was against her beliefs, but she sure had taken a beating. Everyone who wasn't staring at her and Jessica was staring at the spot where Bailey had been before he disappeared. Jaynee felt a small smile form on her lips, despite the pain it caused in her cheek. No one else would've helped her. She knew that for a fact. Jessica was the head bitch and she was just the crazy hippie girl who was still known for the cupcake incident. No one would've helped her, but Bailey did, and she was grateful.
"You ready for the next round, bitch?" Jessica said, clearly over her shock, "Your boyfriend isn't here to protect you this time."
"No, but I am," an administrator said from behind Jessica. The girl's face transformed into an "Oh shit!" expression while Jaynee just smirked.
~Timeskip~
When Jaynee left her last class that day she had the clear makings of a black eye and a scratch on her left cheek, but she didn't mind too much. Watching Jessica get dragged off by the administrator while she herself hadn't gotten in the least bit of trouble was oh so satisfying. That was one of the perks of not believing in violence. That whole "mutual combat" thing didn't apply. She'd provoked Jessica, she wouldn't deny that, but it was the girl's own falt for flipping out like that. I mean really, you have to be a pretty big spazz to attack someone just for telling you to fuck off.
Jaynee found herself heading towards the courtyard after class, wanting to sit outside for awhile rather than go back to her room and do her homework.

Bailey opened his eyes. He was outside now, and what looked to be early morning. He was in the middle of the high school track. He rolled his eyes. Great, he was back here again. Then, he remembered something, and looked around. Sure enough, there she was, running exactly like she had the other day.
Quickly, Bailey started to run towards her like he had before, and ran straight into her, causing them both to fall over all over again.
