Kashou lifted his head as his name was called, the coach demanding to know what he was doing. The raptor inside him didn't see it that way though- and in this form his animalistic side was much stronger in mind than his human. In this form, the poor coach was seen as a challenger for Raven, a rivaling male coming and trying to take his mate. And he didn't like that, not one bit. Common, human, sense forgotten, Kashou narrowed his eyes at the coach, his muscles tensing and the frills along his head shooting upward in warning as he moved to stand infront of Raven, teeth bared as he faced the coach with a loud screech. A warning... Strike one of three. And the other two wouldn't be as kind. If the coach didn't back down, next Kashou would Bluff- run at him as if to attack before bouncing away, hoping to scare him off. If that didn't work.... well, things would probably get messy. It was almost funny how one minute everything had been just fine and dandy, Kashou in control and having a laugh, and then the next it had turned deadly. All because of one stupid move. But, in the animal world, thats all it took... one slip-up, one mistake, and you were dead meat.

Raven watched the dinosaur warily, wondering what on earth was going through his mind as he roared at the coach. Probably nothing. She watched the nature channel. She knew how these things worked. Animals, especially males, were all instinct, and it was not unheard of for a marked to succumb to their animal part's instincts while in that form. The screech....that was a warning if she wasn't mistaken.....oh God. The black-haired girl couldn't help but pull a face-palm when she realized what exactly was going on. Boys could be so stupid.
She glanced over at the coach who had frozen, clearly not sure what to do. If he backed down he would lose his authority as a teacher. If he didn't he may lose a lot more than that. He clearly wasn't sure if this was just some joke or if this was the true raptor coming out. Raven shook her head and stepped back a few paces. Instinct or no, there was still a human in there, and that human could be reasoned with. She ran towards the dinosaur's back, running up the tail an along the back until she was seated at his neck. A normal person wouldn't have been able to pull it off, but then, no one at this school was normal.
"Kashou, it's me, Raven," she said softly in his ear, "You gotta shift back, man, cut this crap out."

Kashou snorted as the coach stopped, but didn't back away. Well, it was a start.... a good bluff should do it. The raptor leaned forward slightly, preparing himself for the false attack when he felt someone run up his back and rest on his neck, murmuring in his ear. He recognized the voice immediantly, and calmed, frilled resting down again and mucles relaxing. Raven. As her words reached him, Kashou seemed to snap out of it with a small shake of his head. Blinking, the dino murred to the girl quietly in agreement before bending down and lightly placing her on the floor. After that, he immediantly bolted for the boy's locker room, only to return again about two minutes later, fully clothes in a spair pair of gym clothes, his hair ruffled slightly, and his expression hard, though mostly cause he was frustrated with himself. Trying to make his expression a little less agressive, Kashou nodded toward the coach in apology but didn't say anything. Just quietly took his place beside Raven. "Sorry..." He murmured, his voice still a bit scratchy and hissy, as if it hadn't fully shifted yet.

Raven breathed a sigh of relief as she felt the dinosaur relax beneath her, walking casually back over to the edge of the gym after she'd been set down. She watched the raptor-boy disappear and reappear in his human form, keeping an eye on the coach all the while. The man seemed to calm down once the reptile did, heading back over to his spot on the bleachers once more. He didn't say anything, only blew his whistle ast he signal that they should continue jogging. The group lurched forward, many moving along sluggishly now that they were talking fiercely. Raven ignored the rest of the class and picked up her former speed as if she'd never broken stride.
"I thought it was rather sexy, actually," she said, giving the boy a smirk.
