Sasha shivered under the touch of Logan's hands under his shirt. He kissed up to Logan's ear before pausing for a moment. "You know I love you, right?" He breathed, only loud enough for Logan to hear. He wasn't sure why it felt so important to say this now, but it did.

"Yes, I know," Logan said, caught off guard by the sudden proclamation. "I love you too." He didn't know why Sasha chose now to say that, but he liked hearing it. He stared up at his boyfriend, eyes running over his handsome features with please and smiling sweetly.

"I know," Sasha smiled back, his fingers skimming the edges of Logan's face. Oh boy, did he know it. The thought sent a shiver of guilt down his spine, though he told himself that it was caused by other sensations. To distract himself, he slid his hands down to the him of Logan's shirt, pulling it up so he could feel the boy's abs and chest. Closing his eyes happily, Sasha lowered his head back down to kiss Logan again.

Logan pressed his lips back against Sasha's tightly. He was beginning to lose himself in the kiss when a nibbling at his foot dragged him back to reality. The dark-haired boy pulled his lips away from his boyfriends and looked down at the puppy biting his toes. It was Max, feeling left out despite having a buddy to play with.
"They're just not used to not having tons of friends," Logan said with a grin, "Hey, did that girl, uh, Lynda, have a dog too?"

Sasha looked up when Logan pulled away, laughing at the little dog."Poor boy," He shook his head, rolling off Logan to pet the dog. At the mention of Lynda, though, he froze for a fraction of a second. "Um, yeah. Kinda. It's her sister's dog, really, but they kinda share her, I guess." He didn't look up at Logan, instead distracting himself but stratching Max behind his ears, and Sammi too when he came over. "We've had Sammi and Finn play together one or twice." Finally, he looked over his shoulder at Logan, a teasing grin on his face. "Lynda doesn't mind calling them play dates."

"Lynda is a girl," Logan retorted, "and even though I'm bi, I'm still a dude. I have some manhood left." He looked over at Sasha, studying the boy's face carefully. Something was bothering him, something important. He was doing his best not to show it, but Logan knew Sasha; he could tell. "Are you . . . are you okay?" he asked lamely. He couldn't just say, "What's bugging you so much that you aren't telling me?" For starters it was rude. For seconders, it was just too blunt. Not quite Logan's style.

"Are you saying I don't have any manhood left?" Sasha retorted, sounding mock-hurt. His face fell the slightest bit at Logan's question. Of course Logan would be able to tell. It wasn't like he'd had any luck in the past at hiding anything from the boy. But he couldn't exactly tell Logan. "I'm fine," he lied, looking down.

Logan stared at Sasha for a long moment, ignoring the joke about manhood and watching his face intently. Finally he reached over and put a hand under Sasha's chin, pulling it up so that he had to look him in the face. "Sasha...I think we both know that's a lie," he said softly. He didn't want to pry too much, but he had to know. He had a sick feeling in his gut that whatever it was that was bothering his boyfriend involved him too. Logan was good at fixing things, even relationships, but he couldn't fix what he didn't know was broken.

He had no choice but to look back at Logan, the sick feeling in his stomach seeming to get worse. "I just... I've been having headaches, again." For the longest time, Sasha's ability had given horrible headaches. They would make it hard for him to think, most of the time. If Sasha knew Logan well enough, then the boy would be too concerned about him to see through the lie.

"Oh, you poor thing, why didn't you tell me sooner?" Logan said. Not waiting for an answer, he leaned in to kiss Sasha's forehead gently. "Is there anything I can do to help?" he asked now. He knew there wasn't much, but he didn't want Sasha to be in pain. That was the one thing he'd always disliked about his power, it didn't apply to bodily ailments. He could fix anything else on the planet but break your arm and he was useless.

Sasha closed his eyes when Logan kissed his forehead, unable to keep himself from feeling bitter relief. "I didn't want you to worry," Sasha murmured, instinctively curling up against Logan's chest. "No, I'll be ok. It'll pass." He looked up at the boy he loved so much and offered a smile. There was no doubt he felt guilty for lying to him, but he'd sworn not to hurt the boy. He couldn't tell him something like that. He just couldn't.

"Alright, if you're sure," Logan said, looking down at his boyfriend at returning the small smile. His arms automatically went around Sasha's waist, holding him close. "So other than the headaches how've you been?" he asked.
