All that could be seen of Dallas Taylor by anyone on the path around the lake was her crimson head, peaking over the top of the huge fallen tree as it bobbed up and down in time with the music blasting from her headphones. A sketchpad propped up on her knees, the girl's hand moved across the paper with quick, short strokes, roughly shaping the form of the lake before her. Slowly the trees, water, rocks, they all all appeared on the paper. After a rough sketch of the land features, she turned to the clouds, shaping their light fluffiness as she recalled what it was like to fly among them.
After awhile the girl began to make her way back to the path towards the school, her masterpiece put aside for the moment. She had just reached the dirt path around the lake when the song on her iPod changed to a particularly good one. Not caring who was around to see, Dallas began to dance as she walked, closing her eyes as she moved to the music. She wasn't a particularly good dance, but she wasn't terrible either, and what's more she was never afraid to try. She was still dancing her way along when she ran straight into something, causing her to fall on her butt.
"Oh! Sorry!" the red-haired girl said when she opened her eyes and realized that the something was actually a someone. A boy she might describe as "emo" sat across from her, clearly just knocked down as well. She couldn't really talk though. In her white band tee, short black skirt, studded belt, and black-and-white striped tights leading into knee-high converse boots, added to the liberal amount of liner around her eyes and color of her hair, she bordered on "emo" herself.

Kanashii had just awaken from another one of his nightmares. He had immediatly sat up and looked around his cold, dark room, searchinf for hiw twin brother, but came up short. His brother was never there. Worried, and on the brink of breaking into emotional distress, Kana jolted out of bed, and out his dorm room.
Soon, he found himself outside. Slowly, he tried to calm himself down, taking uneven breathe in and out. He looked around, his weerie eyes searching for his brother. Then, something bright caught his eye, and Kana blindly ran towards it.
But, before he knew it, he was knocked on the ground, almost having the wind knocked out of him. He looked up from his jet black hair, and slowly moved it out of his eyes. His heart pound in his chest as he realised he had bumped into a red-headed girl. A pretty, red-headed girl. Kana didnt say anything, he just glanced, then looked away, nodding slowly.

Dallas stood up and dusted the dirt off of herself before offering a hand up to the boy. He hadn't said anything, but it looked like the quiet type. She studied his face for a moment as she waited for him to accept her hand. He didn't look like the average person out for a walk might. He seemed...troubled.
"Are you alright? You look kinda weirded out or somethin," she said.

Kanashii looked up at the girl awkwardly. He flipped his hair back, only to have it fall back in his face again. He nodded again, telling her he was okay, and started to get up himself. Kana was not sure if he should take her hand or not, so he opted against it.
Slowly, Kana got up and nodded at the girl again before briskly walking off. His brother had told him not to talk to strangers, so he was not gonna. He looked around some more, but still could not find his brother, so,eventually, he decided to just give up.
**THE NEXT DAY!**
Kanashii slowly walked into the classroom door, his held down and pressed against his chest. He flipped his jet black hair out of his eyes momentarily, and found his seat in the way back of the classroom. As he sat down, he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. Today was the day they were supposed go up in front of the whole class and present their projects. Of course, Kana had did his, he just did not want to go and present it.
He laid his head on his desk and sighed. He hated his voice. It was so soft, and unmanly. Lots of times people would call him michael jackson, cause thats who he sounded most like. Unlike his brother, who had gotten a deeper voice at an early age. Kana sighed again, and hoped he would be picked last.

Dallas entered the classroom with her usual bouncy walk, settling on a desk near the window where she could watch the clouds and ignore the speeches that everyone was being forced to give. She had to give hers as well, but in the normal Dallas fashion, she hadn't written it. She intended to wing it, as she did so many other things, and see how it went. Not the best idea, but it had never completely failed her yet. When the bell rang, signalling the start of class, the teacher made her way to the front of the classroom.
"As you all know, we will be making our speeches on Julius Caesar today," she said, "I'm going to begin with those supporting Antony, so if you were assigned to him, please come stand at the front."
Dallas hopped up with the other Antonys, including the boy she'd run into the other day, and stood at the front, staring back at her classmates with a calm yet pleasant expression. She was the only one without a paper in front of them. As they were allowed to directly read the speeches, most people were; however, that required having actually written it.
"Okay, who wants to go first? Kanashi?" the teacher asked.

Kanashii inhaled quickly as the teacher spoke his name. He wanted to be the last one to go, but she just had to choose him. Reluctently, he walked up to the podem(sp?) and looked over the classroom, then down at his paper. The classroom, his paper. Then he coughed, and looked at the teacher.
,"Anytime you wanna start dear.," she said to him, in a fake nice voice. Kana swallowed hard, and then looked down at his paper again, and started reading it aloud. Slowly, he could start to feel his cheecks turn red. He could hear his soft, michael jackson like voice cracking and sounding more and more out of place.
Soon enough though, it was over and the rest of the class slowly clapped. Kanashii walked back over to his seat and sat down, placing his head on the desk. And just his luck, he had fallen asleep soon after.

"Very good! Who's next? Dallas?" the teacher continued in that awful face nice voice.
"Sure," Dallas chirped and stepped up to the podium to begin her speech. She looked out at her classmates, about half of whom were sleeping or trying to. Unfazed, she looked down at her imaginery notes and back up at them, taking a deep breath before beginning.
"Well, first off, let me say, Marc Antony, what a guy..." the rest of the speech continued along the same thread, until she finally ended with, "And that's why Antony would kick butt as leader of Rome."
The teacher gave her quite the dirty look, but it was clear that those students who'd been listening were quite entertained. The crimson-haired girl took her seat quickly and fell into her daydreams as the speeches went on.

Kanashii opened his eyes and looked around. He was no longer in the classroom, instead he was outside. All around him, he could hear screaming and could smell the horrible stench of rotting flesh. He tried to examine and find where he was at, but someone pushed him and he fell to the ground.
As he got up, he knew where he was. He was outside a college, and what appeared to be some mass murder scene going on before him. Suddenly he began to panic as images flashed before his eyes. In the real world, Kanashii gripped the desk he was sitting at, and started screaming.
Just as soon as it had begun, it was over, and once again, Kana found himself back in the classroom. He quickly lifted his head and looked around. Everyone was staring at him, few were surprised though, because most knew of his condition. But, even so, Kanashii could feel himself turning red and so he got up and quickly left the room. After closing the door behind him, he slide down to the floor and buried his head in his hands, his body shaking from the bad thing he had just seen.

Dallas stared at the screaming boy with wide eyes. She had heard about the fits his visions caused, but she had never seen one herself. A few seconds after he left the girl raised her hand to get the teacher's attention.
"May I go check on him?" she asked.
"Yes, I believe that would be good," the teacher said, more wanting to get on with her lesson than caring for Kana. Dallas stood up and slipped outside without much notice. Most were wondering why she bothered. It happened all the time. But she was worried. Something he'd seen must've been pretty terrible. The sight of the boy shaking on the floor confirmed it.
"Are you alright?" she asked, crouching down next to him. She reached out to put a hand on his shoulder but dropped it before she actually touched him, unsure how he would react.

Usually by this time, Kanashii's brother would have already been by his side, holding his twin brother. But, Kana had no idea where his brother had been lately, and it scared him worse. To top it all off, that pretty girl was by him again, and making things worse. Kana started getting feelings in the pit of his tummy, and only buried his head deeper in his hands.
But, before long, he found himself so emotionally distressed, that what he did next, he could not help. Without thinking, Kana scooted closer to the girl, and wrapped his arms around her, his body still shaking from the shock his "dream" had caused him.

Dallas was a little shaocked at the sudden hug, she hade to admit, mostly because Kana didn't seem like the type to go around hugging people very often. However, that didn't stop her from hugging him back after a couple seconds. He was clearly in distress. What he'd seen must have been awful, but she didn't dare ask about it, not wanting to make him think about it any more than he had to. For a long time she just sat there next to him, hugging him close and letting him calm down a bit.
"Was it....was it really terrible?" she finally ventured cautiously.

Kanashii was actually surprised himself that the girl had put her arms around him, but it did help. He closed his eyes, and pretended she was his brother. It was begining to work until some kid came running through the halls acting all retarded.
,"HEY!HEY! YOU GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW DANIEL BASS!," the administrator chasing after the kid yelled, but "daniel bass" didnt listen, he just kept running. Luckily for the administrator, the janitor had just mopped, and the kid named daniel bass slipped, allowing the admin to take him into custody.
With that, Kana realised what he was doing, and instantly let go of the girl, his face turning completely red. He scooted far away from her, and under his breathe whispered,"im sorry.."

Anastasia was walking in the opposite direction as Daniel Bass, one of her good friends, and his administrator. When Asia first saw him, she smiled and gave him a high five. The knees down of is pants appeared damp to tell her he had slipped, but he had seen the end of it and didn't need to assume so. "Have fun repairing your pride, buddy," she told him.
"Do you have a hall pass?" the admin asked and she flashed him the one she had stolen from Mrs. Thompson a while ago. He nodded, eyes narrowed with suspicion, as he continued to drag Daniel Bass away by his curly brown hair. "Ow, watch it dude, or I'll just have to hit you with a fish!" she heard Daniel Bass say before he was out of sight. Asia giggled; that kid and his fish obsession, really.
She spotted two kids all cozy in the hall, until one pushed the other away. Oh, she had to go make their lives hell, she did. Walking up, she looked down at them with a smirk. "Aw, is emo boy getting to emotional to even cry with his girlfriend? I think that means it's time to pull out the razor and go cut yourself again, doesn't it?"

Dallas was just about to say that it as perfectly fine, that she liked hugs, when the red-haired stranger walked up. She felt her hands automatically clench into fists as the rage boiled inside her. It was people like this girl who pissed her off the most. Narrow-minded, hateful, stereotypical, and nosy. All the things she hated. If you have a problem with someone that's one thing, but if you have a problem with someone without knowing them and then make a completely ill-founded judgement and butt into a private conversatin just to be mean, that was asking for it.
"I can take a razor to your face if you like," she growled, standing up, "Or a fist if you prefer."

A hardy laugh came out of Asia lips as she stared down at the girl. She ran with super speed to one side of her, so fast that it was almost like she appeared out of no where there. "Punch me, bitch." Then, she was many feet away, down the hall, really. "I'd like to see you try," she told the girl, a smirk on her face. Even if the chick landed a punch on Asia's face, she would beat her down until the admins were dragging her away like Daniel Bass, except they'd need more then one. And if Dallas somehow got out of the fight as the better of the two, Asia would seek revenge. And that revenge would involve help from a handful of Hive friends, a baseball bat, and a whole lot of blood. Asia doesn't loose to a challenge.
